Nighttime is a special time at the Walt Disney World Resort; the parks comes alive in very unique ways. And now, there’s a way to experience nighttime at three Walt Disney World theme parks with Disney After Hours.

Disney After Hours is a special, hard-ticketed event that takes place for three hours on select nights in December, January, February, March and April. The event allows Guests to enjoy exclusive time in the park with quicker than typical access to most popular attractions, as well as character greetings.

Magic Kingdom

At the Magic Kingdom, Guests are able to have access to dozens of unforgettable experiences. More than 25 popular attractions and Character Greetings are available with minimal waits.

  • January 6, 13, 17, 20, 23, 27, and 31
  • February 3, 10, 17, and 24
  • March 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30

Guests will be able to enjoy delicious ice cream novelties, popcorn, and bottled beverages throughout the evening free of charge. For those who would like to enjoy other options, Guests can also purchase select menu items at the Main Street Bakery and at other select locations throughout the park.

 

Disney Villains After Hours

Disney Villains After Hours event will be a plussed up version of Disney After Hours. At the Magic Kingdom, Guests are able to have access to dozens of unforgettable experiences with than 25 popular attractions available with minimal waits. But with this new experience, there will be an added Disney Villain twist!

Special Experiences

  • A Brand-New Disney Villains Stage Show that features Hades and Meg from Hercules who will set the castle stage ablaze in this all-new stage show called Villains Unite the Night. The show will also feature appearances by Jafar, The Queen, Dr. Facilier and Maleficent.
  • Spot Maleficent the Dragon as, she will be let loose at night – breathing fire as she creeps through the park
  • Joining Maleficent will be the Villains’ Cursed Caravan. Favorite Disney villains will be on had like Gaston, Oogie Boogie, Cruella DeVil, Captain Hook and more
  • There will be villain-inspired additions at Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain.
  • Attendees can purchase logo merchandise, as well as Disney Villains merchandise items that will be available.
  • Show off your sinister side and dress as your favorite baddie

Dining

Guests will be able to enjoy delicious ice cream novelties, popcorn, and bottled beverages throughout the evening free of charge. For those who would like to enjoy other options, a variety of special food & beverage offerings will also be available for purchase, including desserts, drinks and dishes inspired by The Queen, Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, Hades, Dr. Facilier and even Emperor Zurg.

Snacks will include:

  • Painting the Roses Red – a cheesecake mousse with raspberry gelée, red cocoa butter, and buttercream leaves (available at Cheshire Café)
  • Body Language –  a cookies and cream mousse with chocolate cake, glaçage, and meringue tentacles garnished with a chocolate shell (available at Storybook Treats)
  • Five Dozen Eggs Slush – A frozen custard with brown sugar topped with whipped cream and garnished with a cinnamon stick (available at Gaston’s Tavern)

Pricing for Disney Villains After Hours

Disney Villains After Hours will have special pricing that is different from the usual Disney After Hours events. It will cost $145 plus tax in advance, $155 plus tax on the event night. Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club Members can purchase tickets with a $30 discount.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Guests are able to have access to some of the park’s most popular attractions with minimal waits.

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Guests are able to access Pandora – The World of Avatar with minimal wait times.

Pricing for Disney After Hours

A separate event ticket is required. Pricing for each park is $119 plus tax for adults and children (ages 3-9). Admission is limited; Tickets for Disney After Hours can be purchased here.

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can get discounted tickets for Disney After Hours. Specially priced tickets are just $95 per adult or child, plus tax.

 

Additional Details

  • Official check-in for the event will take place at the Main Entrance to the theme park beginning at 7:00 p.m.
  • Please note that the park will officially close to Guests who haven’t purchased Disney After Hours tickets.
  • Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guests—including those staying at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and Walt Disney World Swan Hotel—may use Walt Disney World Transportation for up to 2 hours after the event. Guests with other accommodations are not guaranteed transportation and are encouraged to consult the transportation schedule at their place of lodging.
  • Please note that the number of tickets available is limited. In addition, all tickets are non-refundable, non-transferrable and are only valid for admission during the special event date and hours.
