Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

The Magic Kingdom will be transformed into a winter wonderland for this holiday fete. Snow will descend on Main Street, Mickey and friends will be garbed in seasonal apparel, and Cinderella Castle will once again shimmer in ice with the indescribable Castle Dream Lights. You won't want to miss the party's special fireworks show Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season which is set to your favorite traditional holiday music in addition to Disney music which was composed specifically for this show. Not to be outdone by the fireworks, the special, enchanting holiday parade, Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade will take place twice an evening during the party. Guests may also attend live Disney character stage shows at select locations throughout the Magic Kingdom, ride park attractions under the stars, and enjoy free hot cocoa and cookies. Advance tickets strongly recommended; separate admission ticket is required.

Update: A new interactive musical show, which will debut during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on the Tomorrowland stage used for the short-lived Stitch's Supersonic Celebration. The name of the show will be A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas and will feature Stitch, Buzz Lightyear, Mike Wazowski and a cast of party-goers who discover the true meaning of the season during their annual Christmas party. During previous Christmas parties, "Mickey's Twas the Night Before Christmas Show" took place in this area, but it's home, the Galaxy Palace Theater, was demolished earlier this year to make way for Stitch's Supersonic Celebration.

Although, MVMCP does not start until 7:00 p.m., party-goers will be able to enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. with their event tickets. Those with MVMCP tickets will receive wristbands for a Cast Member as they enter the park. Wrist bands are also handed out at the Rose Garden beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Special Notices: Florida Residents can get a special discount on MVMCP tickets. Now through December 15th (Advance purchase price not available on 11/29, 12/4, 12/11, 12/17, 12/18) . Enjoy a special price for Florida Residents of $50 per adult/$44 per child. Purchase up to 4 tickets at this special rate. Call 407-W-DISNEY to purchase tickets. Proof of residency is required.

Discounted Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets are available on select nights for Active and Retired Military, including Coast Guard and active National Guard or Reservists. The cost is $36.40 plus tax for adults and $32.40 plus tax for children (ages 3 to 9), and tickets will be available at all Disney Vacation Planning (Front Gate Ticket Windows) and Guest Relations locations. Military may purchase up to 5 additional tickets for family members and friends, providing ID requirements (similar to the arm forces salute) are met. Eligible party dates are 11/10, 11/12, 11/13, 11/15, 11/17, 11/19, 11/20, 11/29, 12/1, 12/3, 12/4, 12/6, 12/8, 12/10, 12/11, 12/13, 12/15, 12/17. Tickets are not available at Shades or Green or Military Bases. Call Disney to inquire.
