Curious George Goes To Town is a favorite for guests of all ages at Universal Orlando Resort. This play area is a little further from the others close by, but it is worth the walk! When you walk through the gates you enter the town that Curious George himself calls home. Walk, run, and jump through over-sized cartoon buildings, play in the foam ball pit where you can blast them at your friends, or stay in the water area for a cool down. There is even an animal show tent, where the toddlers can satisfy their own curiosity.
Dining: KidZone Pizza Company | Café La Bamba
Curious George Goes To Town play area is located towards the very back of the KidZone. The closest dining spot would the KidZone Pizza Company, however if the adults want something different Café La Bamba isn’t too much further.
The Mouse For Less Tips
- If you are a first time visitor to this little play area keep in mind there are a lot of water-related activities. There are water pumps and hoses, as well as 2 hanging buckets of water that periodically dump on whoever is below. It’s usually best to visit this closer to leaving the parks as you will get 100% soaked.
- If you bring a change of clothes to the park (or maybe 2 sets) this is a great spot to stop off for a cool down during those hot summer days.
- Just like A Day in the Park with Barney & Fievel’s Playland this play area generally opens at 10:00 a.m. (1 hour after the park’s opening). When the crowd levels are expected to be busy, Curious George Goes To Town along with everything else in the KidZone will open at 9:00 a.m.
