Pop Warner Super Bowl

The nation's top youth football teams and players will converge on Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex for the 56th Pop Warner Super Bowl this December. The event will mark the 18th year held at Walt Disney World Resort, involving more than 60 teams. To reach the Pop Warner Super Bowl, teams nationwide battle local and regional tournaments throughout the year. Teams compete at Disney,s Wide World of Sports Complex in four divisions based on size and age: Jr. Pee Wee (ages 8-10), Pee Wee (9-11 yrs.), Jr. Midget (10-12 yrs.) and Midget (11-14 yrs.). The 2011 Pop Warner Super Bowl concluded with the Florida City Razorbacks (FL) taking home the Division I Midget National Championship after a 28-0 victory over the Northwest Raiders (PA) at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort. Visit our MFL News Blog for video.
Pop Warner Cheer and Dance Championships

The Cheer & Dance Championships will feature over 400 cheer/dance squads who will compete at the four-day long event. Cheer and dance squads compete in four different age ranges (Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. Midget, and Midget), as well as two squad sizes (Small and Large) and three competition categories.
Public Exhibitions
Some public exhibitions may be scheduled during the Football and Cheer and Dance tournaments. Guests can expect heavy bookings at some resorts, especially All-Stars, by youth groups, as well as possible crowds in parks during evening hours.
Live Television Coverage
Youth athletes competing in the Pop Warner Super Bowl will gain additional national exposure as part of a 10-year contract renewal with ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort. Under the contract extension, which runs through 2019, more than 40 hours of live game coverage and game action cut-ins will be shown on ESPN3.com. In addition, the Division I Midget national championship game will be aired on ESPN2 and other networks.
