How does the Table-Service Dining Plan Work

All meals and snacks are loaded as credits in your account at the beginning of your vacation through your app. Unused credit will expire at midnight on your checkout day.
- Credits can be used anytime during your stay (not per day).
- Use them at participating locations across Walt Disney World – theme parks, resorts or Disney Spring
This flexibility allows you to:
- Enjoy multiple sit-down meals in one day
- Use fewer credits on another
- You can even even save all your snack credits till your checkout day then load up on snacks for your drive/flight home
Why Choose the Table-Service Dining Plan?

The Disney Dining Plan is a great option for guests who want a mix of convenience and experience.
It is Best for:
- First-time visitors
- Families who want character dining
- Guests who enjoy sit-down meals
- Trips with a balanced pace
👉 You get the best of both worlds—quick meals and memorable dining experiences
When the Table-Service Dining Plan May Not Be Worth It

This plan may not be ideal if you:
- Prefer quick-service meals only
- Don’t want to make dining reservations
- Eat lightly or plan to share meals
- Enjoy Walt Disney World with the signature dining experiences
- Like to use meal time as resting/recharge time for your park day
👉 In these cases, the Quick-Service Dining Plan or Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan may be a better fit.
Is the Table-Service Dining Plan Worth It?

The value of your dining plan depends on how you use your credits.
You’ll get the most value if you:
- Book higher-priced table-service meals
- Take advantage of character dining experiences
- Use snack credits strategically
👉 Although all three Disney dining plans can save you money, the biggest benefit is convenience and budgeting, not always maximum savings.

You can redeem credits at:
- Theme park restaurants
- Disney water park restaurants
- Disney Resort hotel dining locations
- Disney Springs
With hundreds of participating locations, you’ll have plenty of options—from quick bites to upscale dining. You can find a list of Participating Disney Restaurants on our site.
