Armed Forces Salute Room Deal Travel Dates: January 3 to September 3, 2010, except not available 3/28-4/10/10 and 7/1-7/5/10 Save up to 40% on Walt Disney World Resort rooms. Armed Forces Salute Ticket Deal Travel Dates: January 3 - July 31, 2010 Walt Disney World has introduced a new Armed Forces Salute Ticket for 2010. Qualifying Military Service members* will be able to obtain a discounted 4-Day Base Ticket” for $99 plus tax (plus up to 5 companion tickets; see below). Tickets must be purchased at the theme park ticket windows and are not available in advance through Disney online or by phone. Plus, for an additional $25 plus tax the Park hopper option or Water Park Fun & More option may be added. Tickets may be upgraded to Seasonal (for Florida Residents) or Annual Passes for an additional fee. The "No Expiration Option" or the addition of extra days cannot be added to these tickets. Tickets are valid until 9/30/2010. Block out dates are 3/27- 4/9/2010 in all 4 theme parks and 7/3 & 7/4/2010 in the Magic Kingdom only. Note: Tickets can also be can pre-purchased as an exchange voucher at Shades of Green or at a military base, TAX-FREE (military who purchase at the park will have to pay the tax). In addition, companion 4-day base tickets can be purchased for up to 5 guests of Military personnel for only $99 each plus tax. Walt Disney World has a new special that includes an offer of a free Disney Gift card tiered to Value, Moderate and Deluxe resorts of up to $750. Travel dates will be from 1/3/10 - 6/3/2010. AAA and CAA members can save on Walt Disney World room reservations through 2010. The AAA or CAA card is required at time of booking and when arriving at the resort. AAA and CAA discounts are usually not available during the Holiday season, and run 10 - 20 percent off the rest of the year. New rates for the following year are released about mid summer. While AAA room discounts are available by booking directly through Disney or with any travel agency, AAA packages must be booked through AAA. It has been reported that some AAA offices are now charging a fee to apply discount codes to packages. Disney often releases specials throughout the year that are better than AAA packages. Unlike some Disney specialized agencies, AAA does not monitor or automatically change packages to get you the best deal after booking. While initial package deals may look appealing, do be aware that you may not always have the best deal available by the time you travel. Please mention if you qualify for a AAA room rate discount when booking with The Magic For Less Travel.

Guests may receive a flyer in their room or see an offer on their resort TV and reservations must be made before guests check out of the resort. At the time the reservation is made, the guests can indicate that they would like their choice of travel agency noted on the reservation or when the guests returns home, they can be transfer their reservation to a travel agency to take advantage of any specials or promotions that may be offer. Pin Codes sent directly from Disney in the form of post cards and emails are another way to get good discounts. No one is sure how one gets one of these, but if you should get one, they can also be booked directly through a travel agent to take advantage of any specials or promotions that may be offered as well. It’s a Disney Cruise Line first! The Disney Wonder Cruise Ship is sailing to Alaska for a four-month season of 7-night cruises in 2011.
