Marketplaces tapas-sized portions range in cost from $3 to $8, and at each kiosk, are paired with beer, wine and cocktails.

For 2013, the International Food and Wine Festival will for the first time feature a Scotland Marketplace. Inspired by the Disney film Brave, the new marketplace will feature the foods, beers, meads and scotch of Scotland, with the cocktail of choice will be a Rusty Nail, a popular Scotch whisky martini that is simply Scotch and Drambuie. The Brazil Marketplace returns by popular demand with an exciting new menu following a one-year hiatus. Hawai’i is back with its flavorful Kalua Pork Slider, and Terra, which debuted last year, returns with vegan favorite Trick’n Chicken Curry.

Typically, the lightest crowds will be Monday through Thursday. To save time, plan your visit by checking out the menus for each kiosk (available here closer to Festival date). And, to get the most from your food budget, consider picking a few extra choices and sharing menu items with others in your group.
