Extended Evening Theme Park Hours

Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can enjoy more time in the theme parks with the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit. On select days one theme park stays open up to two hours extra after regular park hours. This benefit offers guests more time to enjoy shorter lines during these extended theme park hours. There is no charge for this Deluxe Disney Resort guest benefit. Traditionally this event is only available for Magic Kingdom and EPCOT on select nights, however occasionally, Walt Disney World will offer this perk at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Extended evening theme park hours is a benefit for registered Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, which include:

  • If your ticket does not allow park hopping and you would like to enjoy Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, plan ahead and make sure to visit the park offering Extended Evening Theme Park Hours that day.

  •  At 6:00 PM on extended evening theme park hours nights at Magic Kingdom, Guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort or other select hotels will have an additional opportunity to request to join the virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run.
