Beware of the Disney villains as you set out on your thrilling The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler nighttime run along streets haunted by Disney’s most frightening villains and characters! But don’t be afraid! There are plenty of “not so scary” thrills for daytime runners in the Disney Happy Haunted 5K Trail Run. And that’s just the start of the weekend excitement. runDisney Kids races, a nighttime Disney Villain Hollywood Bash, plenty of on course Disney entertainment, and exclusive access to select rides in Disney’s Hollywood Studios make it a towering weekend of fun. We double-dare you to brave dark and ghostly streets haunted by Disney villains. Your commemorative medal announces your towering triumph as you ride thrilling Disney’s Hollywood Studios attractions till 3:00 a.m.!
This race will not be held in 2016. Whether it will return in 2017 has yet to be determined.

Disney’s Health & Fitness Expo
Friday, October 3, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Disney’s Health & Fitness Expo is a two-day celebration located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex that will be your one stop for everything happening during race weekend. A variety of race merchandise will be available for purchase at the Expo.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler
Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10 p.m.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler is a nighttime road race that will end in the shadows of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Your run into the fifth dimension will also take you to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex before returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios where the course will feature the Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show, then turn down New York Street, wind past the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad and return you to an unforgettable finish at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. The race features Disney Entertainment on-course and a Family Reunion Area with live entertainment and characters. Finishers will receive a commemorative Finisher medal.
Disney Happy Haunted 5K Trail Run

Run a fun-filled 5K that the whole family can enjoy. There’s something for everyone at the Disney Family Fun Run 5K where adults, teens and tweens can be a part of this official The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler Weekend event. Experience a 5K course that winds through the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex with an unforgettable finish! Disney Entertainment on-course. Finishers will receive a commemorative 5K Finisher medal.
runDisney Kids’ Races
Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 9:30 a.m.
runDisney Kids’ Races will get your little one warmed up for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler Weekend. Sign up for any of the Kids’ Dashes to participate in the fun! Children ages 13 and under can participate in these races and earn their very own finisher medallion. Parents are allowed to run with their children. Races event is limited and takes place at ESPN Wide World of Sports Track & Field Complex. Races by ages groups include:
• 12 months and under – Diaper Dash for crawlers
• 1-3 years old – 100m dash
• 4-6 years old – 200m dash
• 7-8 years old – 400m dash
• One Mile – Open to all children 13 and under (10:15 a.m.)
Disney Villains Hollywood Bash
October 4, 10:00 p.m. – October 4, 2014, 3:00 a.m.
Runners and Guests can party in the shadow of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at the Disney Villains Hollywood Bash where they can enjoy rides such as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Star Tours, Muppet*Vision 3D, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad, and Toy Story Mania!, in addition to live DJs and character meet & greets with your favorite Disney Villains. Admission to the Disney Villains Hollywood Bash is included in The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler race registration. Disney Villains Hollywood Bash Ticket quantities for friends and family are limited and not guaranteed. Tickets are non-refundable.
Friends and family who want to watch the race from inside the theme park must purchase a Disney Villains Hollywood Bash Ticket.

Cancellation Policy
Entry fees for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler Weekend events are non-refundable.
Eligibility
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler
To compete, you must be 12 years of age or older.
Disney Happy Haunted 5K Trail Run
All ages are welcome to compete. Each participant must be able to complete the 5K on their own.
runDisney Kids’ Races
Children 13 and under can participate in the One Mile. Other runDisney Kids Race distances are determined by age group.
Pacing Requirements
All athletes entering the The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler or Disney Happy Haunted 5K Trail Run must maintain a 16-minute per mile pace throughout the race. Anyone not able to maintain the respective paces may be picked up and transported to the finish. You may be picked up at any point along the course and transported for not maintaining pace. It is suggested that you train at a 15-minute per mile pace.
Costumes
While wearing a costume is optional, amazing costumes are part of the event and are encouraged. There are just a few simple rules. Face masks are NOT allowed for security and safety reasons and questionable or offensive costumes are prohibited. Violators will be asked to change or be removed from the event.
Spectator Information
Directions to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (Expo, 5K and Kids’ Races)
Take 1-4 to exit 65 (Osceola Parkway West). Take a left onto Victory Way and park in the main lot. Proceed on foot to the main entrance.
Viewing Your Runner
Spectators are encouraged to view the 10-Miler start at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If you wish to view the races from inside the park or at the finish, you will need to purchase a Disney Villains Hollywood Bash Ticket. No course viewing areas will be available outside of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Spectators who purchase a Disney Villain Hollywood Bash ticket can enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios after 10:30 p.m.
