Walt Disney World Designated Smoking Areas

Walt Disney World Designated Smoking Areas are the only places where guests may smoke.  The Walt Disney World Resort is a smoke free environment, and smoking is only permitted outside the theme park gates in dedicated areas.   For Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom that is one area for each park.  Epcot has two entrance gates so there are two designated smoking areas for Epcot, one near the World Celebration entrance and one near the International Gateway entrance.

The printed theme park guide maps available at the park entrance and the My Disney Experience app show the Walt Disney World dedicated smoking areas.  Guests are not permitted to smoke while walking around the parks or on any form of Disney transportation such as the buses, monorail, Skyliner,  and boats.   You can also find designated smoking areas on the My Disney Experience app for resorts, Disney Springs and the Theme Parks.

Walt Disney World Resorts, shopping, restaurants and resorts are also smoke free.  Each resort also has designated smoking areas, but all resort hotel rooms are non-smoking.  This includes in your room and on balconies, near the pool, pool bar areas and other public areas at the resorts.  Although marijuana has become legal in some areas, smoking marijuana is not permitted anywhere on Walt Disney World Resort property.

Please note that the smoking area locations are subject to change.
