Disney Fantasy Planning Tips

Make the most of your Disney Fantasy vacation with these helpful tips:

1. Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before embarkation.

The Disney Cruise Line Navigator app contains your rotational dining schedule, entertainment lineup, character appearance times, daily activities, deck plans, and onboard account information.

2. Complete Online Check-In as early as your Castaway Club status allows.

Your online check-in window depends on your Castaway Club status and other eligibility factors. Completing the process as early as possible may provide a better selection of Port Arrival Times.

3. Reserve Palo, Remy, Port Adventures, nursery care, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique as soon as reservations open.

Palo, Remy, Port Adventures, beverage tastings, Senses Spa appointments, nursery care, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservations often fill quickly.

4. Pack swimsuits, medications, travel documents, and a change of clothes in your carry-on bag.

Your checked luggage may not arrive at your stateroom until later in the afternoon. Keep medications, travel documents, swimsuits, sunscreen, and other essentials in your carry-on so you can begin enjoying the ship immediately.

5. Ride the AquaDuck early on embarkation day or while the ship is in port to avoid longer lines.

The AquaDuck is one of the Disney Dream’s most popular attractions. Wait times are often shortest shortly after boarding, during port days, or while many guests are attending dinner or Broadway-style shows.

6. Explore the ship on embarkation day so you can easily navigate once activities begin.

Use your first afternoon onboard to familiarize yourself with the Walt Disney Theatre, Cabanas, youth clubs, pool deck, adult-exclusive areas, and your emergency assembly station before the ship sails.

Fun Facts About The Fantasy

  • Dumbo and Timothy on the Disney Fantasy’s stern weigh in at more than 2,300 pounds. Dumbo is a little over eight feet long from head to tail with an “ear span” of seven feet. Timothy sits 2’6″ tall on Dumbo’s hat and is holding a paintbrush that’s about 3’10″long.
  • The chandelier on the Disney Fantasy is an Art Nouveau-inspired masterpiece cascading from a massive stained-glass flourish. It is over 10 feet in diameter and adorned with more than 60,000 clear Swarovski crystal beads.
  • The Disney Fantasy’s bronze-cast pièce de résistance is Mademoiselle Minnie Mouse, dressed in vintage fashion with a parasol and steamer luggage. Additionally, her elegant pose adds a touch of classic charm to the ship’s decor.
  • With the AquaDuck in place, they had room for their imaginations to concoct yet another family activity on the Disney Fantasy – AquaLab!
  • Muppet Pepe the King Prawn, who stars in the ship’s new Midship Detective Agency game, has his very own stateroom on the Disney Fantasy. Located down the hall from the youth clubs, the stateroom door 5148 ½ is decked out with Pepe’s activity schedule, photos of his Muppet friends, and notes from guests. Interestingly, while no one has ever actually seen the Muppet-sized door open, Pepe has not been shy about bragging about the space reserved just for him.
  • Guests can celebrate special occasions with a one-of-a-kind toast at nightspots dedicated to “bubbly.” For example, a special Taittinger Nocturne with Jessica Rabbit gracing the bottle is the signature bubbly in Ooh La La, the Disney Fantasy’s Champagne-themed cocktail bar.
