Disney Wish Cruise Ship Guide 2026

Disney Wish

The Disney Wish brings Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars stories to life through immersive restaurants, Broadway-style entertainment, family attractions, imaginative youth spaces, and beautifully themed staterooms. Introduced in July 2022, the Disney Wish became the fifth ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet and the first in Disney’s newer class of approximately 140,000-ton ships, ushering in a new era of Disney cruising.

The ship is especially popular for shorter Bahamian vacations, offering families the chance to experience a Disney cruise without committing to a full week at sea. Guests can enjoy theatrical dining in Arendelle, join an interactive Marvel adventure, ride the AquaMouse, relax in adult-exclusive spaces, and watch original stage productions in the Walt Disney Theatre.

This Disney Wish cruise ship guide covers dining, entertainment, pools, youth clubs, adult areas, staterooms, planning tips, and what is included in your cruise fare.

Disney Wish
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure

Disney Wish Dining

Dining aboard the Disney Wish blends Disney storytelling with traditional cruise dining. Unlike a traditional cruise experience, Guests participate in rotational dining, which means they visit each of the three main restaurants while their serving team travels with them throughout the voyage.

As a result, Guests enjoy a unique dining atmosphere each evening without giving up the personalized service that develops between a family and its dining team.

Rotational Dining

1923

1923

Named for the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, 1923 celebrates the history and artistry of Disney animation.

The restaurant is divided into two dining rooms, Walt Disney and Roy Disney, and features artwork, sketches, props, and design details inspired by decades of Disney storytelling. The atmosphere is sophisticated but still family-friendly, making 1923 the most traditional dining experience in the Disney Wish rotation.

The menu features contemporary California-inspired cuisine with a selection of meat, seafood, vegetarian, and family-friendly dishes.

Disney Wish

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure combines dinner with live theatrical entertainment inspired by Disney’s Frozen films.

The celebration takes place after the events of Frozen 2 and features Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf, and live musicians. Guests enjoy a Nordic-influenced menu while performers move through the restaurant and interact with the audience.

Because the entertainment occurs throughout the meal, families may want to arrive on time and limit unnecessary trips away from the table.

Disney describes Arendelle as its first Frozen-themed theatrical dining experience.

Worlds of Marvel

Worlds of Marvel

At Worlds of Marvel, Guests become part of an interactive Marvel story while enjoying dinner.

Large screens positioned throughout the restaurant allow every table to follow the action. The experience features familiar Marvel heroes, special effects, and interactive elements that connect Guests to the unfolding mission.

The menu includes dishes inspired by destinations and cultures connected to Marvel stories, while still offering familiar options for younger diners and Guests with simpler tastes.

Casual Dining

Whether you need breakfast before a Port Adventure, lunch beside the pool, or a snack between activities, the Disney Wish offers several convenient casual dining locations.

Marceline Market

Named after Walt Disney’s childhood hometown of Marceline, Missouri, Marceline Market serves as the Disney Wish’s primary casual restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Instead of a traditional buffet, it features multiple food stations inspired by an international marketplace, offering everything from breakfast favorites and sandwiches to carved meats, seafood, desserts, and kid-friendly selections.

With both indoor and outdoor seating available, Marceline Market is a convenient choice for families looking for variety and flexibility throughout the day.

Disney Wish
Mickey’s Festival of Foods

Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods

Located near the family pools, Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods features several quick-service counters serving a variety of favorites throughout the day, including:

  • Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue – Barbecue favorites
  • Donald’s Cantina – Tacos, bowls, and Mexican-inspired dishes
  • Daisy’s Pizza Pies – Freshly made pizza
  • Goofy’s Grill – Burgers, hot dogs, and grilled favorites
  • Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream – Complimentary soft-serve treats

As a result, it’s the perfect place for a quick meal or snack between pool activities without slowing down your day.

Preludes

Located near the Walt Disney Theatre and onboard cinemas, Preludes offers popcorn, candy, beverages, and packaged snacks.

Joyful Sweets

Joyful Sweets

Inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out, Joyful Sweets offers gelato, ice cream, candy, cupcakes, and specialty treats for an additional charge.

The shop is visually colorful and fun to explore, but purchases here are separate from the complimentary soft-serve ice cream available elsewhere on the pool deck.

Room Service

Most Disney Wish room-service menu items are available without an additional food charge, although gratuities are appreciated.

Room service is useful for:

  • A quiet breakfast in the stateroom
  • Lunch on a private verandah
  • Snacks before bedtime
  • A simple meal for tired children
  • Coffee and light food before an early Port Adventure

Certain beverages and packaged snacks may cost extra.

Adult Dining

Palo

Palo Steakhouse

For Guests seeking an elevated dining experience, Palo Steakhouse combines the Northern Italian influences associated with Palo on Disney’s other ships with the atmosphere of a classic steakhouse.

Inspired by Cogsworth from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, the restaurant offers both brunch and dinner for an additional charge. The menu features premium steaks, fresh seafood, Italian-inspired specialties, appetizers, and decadent desserts, all served in an elegant setting with attentive service.

Because Palo Steakhouse is one of the Disney Wish’s most popular adult-exclusive restaurants, advance reservations are highly recommended, especially for brunch and on shorter sailings.

Enchante

Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement

For an unforgettable fine-dining experience, Enchanté is the Disney Wish’s premier adult-exclusive restaurant. Inspired by Lumière from Beauty and the Beast, it features elegant décor, exceptional service, and a sophisticated menu created in collaboration with Chef Arnaud Lallement.

Because reservations fill quickly, advance booking is highly recommended. An additional charge applies.

The Rose

Located near Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté, The Rose is an elegant lounge inspired by the enchanted rose from Beauty and the Beast.

Guests can enjoy cocktails and ocean views before or after dinner. Reservations are not generally required simply to visit the lounge, although seating may become limited during popular dining times.

Entertainment on The Wish

The Disney Wish offers live theater, character experiences, movies, interactive activities, and evening entertainment throughout each sailing.

Broadway-Style Shows

The Walt Disney Theatre presents original productions featuring elaborate scenery, costumes, special effects, and familiar Disney music.

Disney Seas the Adventure

Disney Seas the Adventure follows Goofy as he learns what it takes to become a captain with help from Captain Minnie and characters from several Disney and Pixar stories.

The show is designed as a musical celebration of Disney storytelling and features songs and characters from multiple films.

Disney The Little Mermaid

Also exclusive to the Disney Wish, Disney The Little Mermaid is an original Broadway-style adaptation that brings Ariel’s beloved story to life through imaginative puppetry, stunning special effects, new theatrical arrangements, and favorite songs from the classic animated film.

Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular

Another guest favorite, Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular brings the story of Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, and Jafar to life through music, comedy, elaborate costumes, and dazzling production numbers. Along the way, audiences will enjoy favorite songs from the animated film paired with impressive theatrical effects created specifically for the stage, making it one of the Disney Wish’s signature entertainment experiences.

Show schedules can vary by voyage, so Guests should confirm performance times in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.

Character Experiences

Character appearances take place throughout the ship and may include:

  • Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse
  • Donald Duck and Daisy Duck
  • Goofy and Pluto
  • Disney Princesses
  • Marvel heroes
  • Characters wearing nautical or seasonal costumes

Some popular character experiences may require advance reservations, while others operate with a traditional standby line.

The Navigator app lists times, locations, and reservation requirements.

Movies

The Disney Wish includes two smaller cinemas, the Wonderland Cinema and Never Land Cinema, where Guests can watch Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and other Disney-distributed movies.

Additional films and special programming may be shown on Funnel Vision near the family pools.

Movie schedules vary by sailing and may include first-run releases.

Luna

Luna is a flexible entertainment venue that hosts family activities during the day and adult programming at night.

Possible activities include:

  • Trivia
  • Game shows
  • Live music
  • Family competitions
  • Comedy
  • Adult-exclusive evening entertainment

Because the schedule changes daily, Guests should use the Navigator app to see what is planned during their cruise.

Pirate Night and Deck Parties

Select Disney Wish itineraries include pirate-themed entertainment, character appearances, music, and deck-party activities.

Fireworks may be presented on eligible sailings, weather and operational conditions permitting. Because entertainment varies by itinerary, Guests should not assume every voyage will offer the same Pirate Night schedule.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

At Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, children can receive a themed makeover from a Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice.

Packages may include hairstyling, makeup or face gems, costumes, accessories, and keepsakes, depending on the selection purchased.

Good to Know

  • Makeovers are generally available for children ages 3–12
  • Packages cost extra
  • Advance reservations are strongly recommended
  • A parent or guardian must accompany participating children
  • Package offerings and prices can change

For current details, visit our Disney Cruise Line Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Guide.

Pools and Recreation

The Disney Wish spreads its family pools across several levels rather than placing one large pool in the center of the upper deck.

Aqua Mouse

AquaMouse

The AquaMouse combines water-slide thrills with animated scenes starring Mickey and Minnie.

Guests ride in a two-person raft through an enclosed lift section before traveling through approximately 760 feet of tubing, turns, and open-air sections above the upper decks.

Height and rider requirements apply. Lines are often shortest early on embarkation day, during dinner, or while the ship is in port.

Family Pools

The Disney Wish includes several smaller family pools themed to Mickey Mouse and his friends.

Because the pools are divided across different areas, families may find it easier to locate a place to sit, but the pools themselves can become crowded during peak afternoon hours.

Toy Story Splash Zone

The Toy Story Splash Zone is designed for younger children and includes fountains, water features, and colorful characters from the Toy Story films.

Nearby, Slide-a-Saurus Rex provides an additional child-friendly water slide.

Swim-diaper rules apply, and children who are not toilet trained must use designated splash areas rather than regular pools.

Hero Zone

Hero Zone

Hero Zone is an indoor, climate-controlled recreation space used for sports, family competitions, and scheduled activities.

Programming may include basketball, obstacle-course activities, game shows, and free-play periods. The enclosed design makes Hero Zone especially useful during hot weather or rain.

Youth Clubs

Disney Cruise Line offers supervised clubs and dedicated spaces for children, tweens, and teens.

it’s a small world nursery

“it’s a small world” Nursery

The nursery provides care for infants and toddlers for an additional hourly charge.

Advance reservations are recommended because space is limited, particularly during dinner and evening entertainment.

Disney Wish

Disney’s Oceaneer Club

Children enter the Oceaneer Club through a slide from the Grand Hall or through the standard entrance on Deck 2.

The Wish’s Oceaneer Club includes several immersive areas.

Marvel Super Hero Academy

Fairytale Hall

Fairytale Hall includes spaces inspired by Disney Princess stories, with activities involving art, storytelling, creativity, and imaginative play.

The Imagineering Lab encourages children to experiment with design, technology, and creative problem-solving while learning how Disney experiences are developed.

Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck

This nautical play space is designed for younger children and includes hands-on activities inspired by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

Oceaneer Club activities and age policies can change, so families should review the current rules before sailing.

Edge

Edge gives tweens their own space for games, music, crafts, group challenges, and social activities.

Vibe

For older teens, Vibe is reserved for teens and includes organized events, video games, movies, music, and time to socialize independently.

Adult Areas

Although the Disney Wish is designed for families, adults have access to several quieter spaces.

Quiet Cove

Quiet Cove

The adult-exclusive Quiet Cove area includes an infinity-style pool, lounge seating, whirlpools, and ocean views.

Its location at the aft of the ship creates a more separated atmosphere than the family pool deck, although seating can still fill quickly on sea days.

Cove Café

Cove Café serves specialty coffee, tea, and adult beverages in a relaxed setting near Quiet Cove.

However, most specialty beverages cost extra, although small pastries or snacks may be available without an additional food charge.

Senses Spa

Senses Spa & Salon

Senses offers massages, facials, salon services, and other treatments for an additional charge.

The spa also includes the Rainforest Room, which requires a separate pass and may feature heated loungers, steam rooms, showers, and outdoor relaxation areas.

Hyperspace Lounge

Adult Lounges

The Disney Wish offers several beautifully themed lounges where adults can enjoy cocktails, live music, ocean views, and a quieter atmosphere away from the busiest family areas of the ship.

Disney Wish
The Rose

The Rose

Inspired by the enchanted rose from Beauty and the Beast, The Rose is an elegant lounge located near Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté, making it a popular place for a pre-dinner cocktail or a relaxing drink after a meal.

Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge

For a truly out-of-this-world experience, Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge surrounds Guests with views of distant planets and star systems while serving themed cocktails and specialty beverages in an immersive setting inspired by the Star Wars universe.

Before you visit, check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the latest operating hours, entertainment schedules, and age restrictions, as they may vary throughout your cruise.

Disney Wish Stateroom Categories

The Disney Wish has approximately 1,250 staterooms divided among four broad accommodation types:

  • Inside Staterooms
  • Oceanview Staterooms
  • Verandah Staterooms
  • Concierge Staterooms and Suites

Disney describes Wish accommodations as some of its most innovative and luxurious rooms at sea.

Most staterooms feature Disney-inspired artwork, elevated beds with storage underneath, convertible sleeping arrangements, and thoughtful family-friendly details.

Many rooms also include Disney Cruise Line’s split-bathroom layout. One room typically contains a toilet and sink, while the other contains a shower or tub and an additional sink. This setup allows two people to get ready at the same time.

Inside Staterooms

Inside Staterooms offer the lowest entry price and provide a comfortable retreat for Guests who plan to spend most of their vacation exploring the ship.

Unlike Inside Staterooms on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, Wish Inside Staterooms do not generally feature Magical Portholes.

Best for: Budget-conscious travelers and Guests who do not need an exterior view.

Oceanview Staterooms

Oceanview Staterooms include one or more portholes that bring natural light into the room.

Some categories provide larger layouts suitable for families, and sleeping capacity varies by room.

Best for: Guests who want natural light and ocean views without paying for a verandah.

Verandah Staterooms

Verandah Staterooms include a private outdoor balcony.

These rooms are especially enjoyable during arrivals, departures, and mornings at Disney’s island destinations. Categories vary according to deck, location, room size, and verandah design.

Best for: Couples and families who value private outdoor space.

Disney Wish
Concierge Suite

Concierge Staterooms and Suites

The Disney Wish offers an expanded collection of Concierge accommodations, including family staterooms, one-bedroom suites, specialty suites, and larger accommodations located within the ship’s funnel.

Disney Wish Planning Tips

  1. Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before sailing. The app provides activity schedules, menus, character times, deck maps, and onboard messaging.
  2. Complete Online Check-In when your booking window opens. An earlier arrival window may provide more time to explore the ship on embarkation day.
  3. Reserve premium experiences early. Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté, Port Adventures, nursery care, spa treatments, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can fill quickly.
  4. Pack a carry-on bag for embarkation day. Include medications, identification, travel documents, sunscreen, swimsuits, and anything needed before checked luggage arrives.
  5. Ride AquaMouse early. Embarkation afternoon, dinner periods, and port days often provide shorter waits.
  6. Review dining entertainment before your cruise. Arendelle and Worlds of Marvel include performances and interactive elements, so arrive on time and plan restroom visits before dinner.
  7. Visit the Oceaneer Club during Open House. Adults can explore the children’s spaces with their families during designated Open House periods.
  8. Do not skip the smaller lounges. Nightingale’s, The Bayou, and Keg & Compass often provide a quieter break from the busiest public areas.
  9. Plan carefully for a short itinerary. Three- and four-night cruises move quickly, so identify your highest-priority activities before embarkation.

Fun Facts About The Disney Wish

  • The ship’s horn on the Disney Wish is a prominent element of the “Sailing Away” deck party at the start of every cruise and is quite the musical talent. The horns are able to sound the first musical line of “When You Wish Upon a Star” as well as the second line of the song (“makes no difference who you are”) plus, several measures of “Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life for Me),” “It’s a Small World,” “Be Our Guest,” “Hi Diddle Dee Dee (An Actor’s Life for Me)” and “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.”
  • The character featured on the Disney Wish’s stern is Rapunzel, accompanied by her faithful companion, Pascal. Continuing the fairy tale theme, the ship’s Grand Hall is centered around a stunning bronze statue of Cinderella, welcoming Guests aboard.
