In 2018, runDisney announced that they would be suspending their races on the west coast due to construction that will be taking place at the Disneyland resort. During a presentation by Josh D’Amaro in the 2022 D23 Expo, it was announced that runDisney will return to Disneyland in 2024. No other details have been announced. We will keep you posted if and when additional news about what future events may occur is released.
Tinker Bell Half Marathon Disneyland Half Marathon Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Star Wars Half Marathon
Disneyland was host to some extremely popular running events including The Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend, the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend, the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend and Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend – The Light Side.
All of the runDisney events at Disneyland are Half Marathon events, but these event weekends also include shorter races and family events. Each event also hosts a Health & Fitness Expo as part of the weekend activities.
