Walt Disney World Guide Books

Birnbaum’s Walt Disney World – This is the official guide book to Disney. There is a lot of information and pictures to get you excited about an upcoming trip as well as covering the basics. Also, they have a special guide for kids that can help get them involved in the planning – it even includes a scrapbook and autograph section!

Unofficial Guide Walt Disney World – This is probably the most comprehensive Disney guide book available on the market and gives very objective opinions, showing both the good and the bad. And while Birnbaum’s has a book for kids to read, the Unofficial Guide has a book for those planning a trip with kids.

PassPorter’s Walt Disney World – This guide book is unique among guide books in that it is also a planner, organizer, journal and keepsake. There are lots of places to carry your travel documents, record important information and more. A note though, after this edition (2016) Passporter’s switched to an electronic only version of their guide. Hidden Mickeys – The Hidden Mickey craze was thought to start at Walt Disney World, and the Imagineers seem to enjoy finding more and more creative ways to hide Mickey and friends.
