Fort Wilderness Campground Resort area is home to the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. A place where kids of all ages can experience ranch life for a day. The Tri-Circle-D Ranch houses all of the horses that give their services to Walt Disney World. Guests can see these horses in parades, pulling the trolley up Main Street USA, or even pulling Cinderella’s beautiful carriage.

Pony Rides

Children over the age of 2 and weighing less than 80 pounds can enjoy a pony ride at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. The pony must be led by an adult and there is a small fee, under $10, associated with this experience. Pony Rides are available from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.

Trail Rides

45-minute horseback trail rides are available daily at 8:30, 10:00, 11:30, 1:00, and 2:30. To participate guests must be at least 9 years old and weigh under 250 pounds. Guests can make reservations 30 days in advance. The trail ride costs $45.00. The trail meanders through Fort Wilderness Campground mostly avoiding guest areas. Guests must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. Lockers are provided for personal belongings. This trail ride is suitable for beginners with horses and does not require any sort of horsemanship skills.
