There are two options for Child Care at Walt Disney World - child care centers and in-room babysitters. The centers are operated by Walt Disney World, but the sitters are not. Walt Disney World does recommend Kids Night Out for in-room child care, but there are other options available as well.
In Room Child Care
Kids Night Out can be contacted at 800-696-8105 or 407-828-0920. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance (more notice is better). Kids Nite Out in-room child care is available for children 6 months to 12 years old. Services are available 24/7.
Kid's Nite Out Caregivers provide one-on-one, in-room childcare in the comfort of your Walt Disney World Resort room. They can also
provide a fun sitter to just hang out with your family if you need a father’s/mother’s helper. The professional well-trained staff of Kid's Nite Out gives your
child individual attention by playing a variety of fun-filled activities including reading books, coloring, or playing "I Spy" games. The Kids Nite Out sitters are all over the age of 18 years and are certified in child/infant CPR and basic first aid.
Per child rates are based on a 4-hour minimum. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid the 4-hour charge. After 9 p.m. there is an additional $2 per hour charge and there is also a one-time transportation fee of $10. Rates are as follows:
- 1 child - $14.00 per hour
- 2 children - $16.50 per hour
- 3 children - $19.00 per hour
- 4 children - 21.50 per hour

Nightly Supervised Children’s Activity Centers
At Disney's child care centers cast members provide a supervised dining and entertainment club for children featuring games, activities, movies and a chance to make new friends. Dinner is served between 6PM and 8PM nightly and is included in the cost of the child care service. Meals can be ordered for children at check in. Rates are $11 per hour per child with a 2 hour minimum. Reservations can be made 90 days in advance by calling 407-939-3463. A $20 fee will be assessed for all cancelations not made at least 24 hours in advance. Parents are provided with beepers for emergency contact.

Activities: Children go on a supervised exploration of the savannahs of Animal Kingdom Lodge. Activities include crafts, games, taste testing and educational instruction of African culture.

Hours: Saturdays, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily
Ages: 6-14 years old.
Cost: $30 per child (tax not included). A credit card is required at time of booking. No refunds if canceling within 24 hours. 10% DVC discount available.

Camp Kidani

Activities: A series of camp-style activities for children lead by African Savanna Guides that rotates throughout the week. Children will work toward themed goals relating to African Animals or African Culture and have the opportunity to earn an exclusive Camp Kidani wooden pin for completion of daily activities. Children awarded 3 pins will earn a Junior Savanna Guide medal. Programs can include themes of Reptiles and Amphibians, Sports and Games, Mammals, or African Art.

Reservations for the Child Care Centers may be made by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. Advance reservations are recommended. Same day reservations are sometimes available, call the location directly after 4PM for availability. A credit card guarantee is required. No outside food please.
There is a 24 hour cancellation policy to avoid fees. Reservations are held up to 30 minutes past reservation time and then released for walk-in guests.
Discounts
DVC members receive a 10% discount at Children's Activity Centers at WDW. Kids ages 4-12 can enjoy computer games, Disney movies, dinner, and snacks in an environment created just for them - while you have a night out for yourself!
Children's Activity Centers are available at five locations: Cub's Den at Wilderness Lodge, Mouseketeer Clubhouse at the Grand Floridian, Neverland Kids Club at the Polynesian, Sandcastle Club at the Yacht and Beach Club resorts, and Simba's Clubhouse at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Discount is limited to three children per member. Children must stay for a minimum of two hours. Participating children must be potty-trained, and no pull-ups are allowed. For Activity Center reservations, call 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463).
