A little about me: I've been a Disney fan for about as long as I can remember; my first trip to The World was in 1995, and I've been in love ever since. I'm a registered dietitian and a foodie, and Disney Dining is one of my favorite things to talk about (just about anything Disney is my favorite!). In addition to my countless Walt Disney World trips, I've visited Disneyland twice, taken a Disney Cruise, ventured to Disneyland Paris, and have run multiple RunDisney races! I'm also a big fan of GKTW, and love to spend time volunteering or running the Gingerbread Run!

Posted on December 21, 2017April 9, 2022

When my Walt Disney World vacation has come to a close, I often get the post-vacation blues! One of my favorite ways to continue to enjoy the magic of Disney is to bring home a special souvenir that reminds me of the fun I had during my last trip. Of course, not everyone wants Disney-themed…

Enjoying Walt Disney World with a Sensitive Stomach

Posted on December 14, 2017April 9, 2022

Walt Disney World, while having plenty of attractions to satisfy thrill-seekers with iron stomachs, has plenty of experiences, attractions, and shows that even those with the most sensitive stomach can enjoy! Being a motion-sickness sufferer, myself, I know how miserable it can be to push too hard and end up roaming the parks with a…

The 5 Best Holiday-Themed Treats this Year at Walt Disney World

Posted on December 6, 2017April 9, 2022

Christmas at Walt Disney World is magical! From the larger than life Christmas trees adorning every hotel lobby and theme park, to the gigantic gingerbread cookie artwork, to the “snow” falling on Main Street U.S.A., there’s nowhere better to get in the holiday spirit! Being a lover of all things dessert, holiday treats play a…

The Best Places to Experience Christmas Cheer Outside of the Parks

Posted on November 28, 2017April 9, 2022

Walt Disney World during the Christmas season is truly magical. Snow falling on Hollywood Boulevard, Goofy dressed as Santa Claus, Christmas carols playing as you walk down Main Street U.S.A.; you really can’t beat the holiday season. Parks can get pretty crowded this time of year, though, with guests flocking to The World from…

I recently celebrated my 27th birthday, and was lucky enough to do it at Walt Disney World! My parents are Florida residents, so my significant other and I make a few trips to Central Florida each year to visit (and go to Walt Disney World, of course!). This year, we flew down on a Friday…

5 Tips for Touring Walt Disney World in the Heat

Posted on August 29, 2017April 9, 2022

We recently spent 5 days at Walt Disney World during the first week of August, and as you’d expect, it was hot! Fortunately for us, it rained a significant portion of this trip, so we were able to stay relatively cool, but being a summer Disney-goer, I know how powerful the Florida sun can be…

Posted on August 24, 2017April 9, 2022

I recently took a trip to The World to celebrate my birthday. Being a self-proclaimed foodie, my favorite part of a Disney vacation is definitely the food! Our family typically goes to the Kona Café for our special occasion breakfasts, but with the recent menu changes at Kona, we decided to branch out and try…
