A little about me: I've been a Disney fan for about as long as I can remember; my first trip to The World was in 1995, and I've been in love ever since. I'm a registered dietitian and a foodie, and Disney Dining is one of my favorite things to talk about (just about anything Disney is my favorite!). In addition to my countless Walt Disney World trips, I've visited Disneyland twice, taken a Disney Cruise, ventured to Disneyland Paris, and have run multiple RunDisney races! I'm also a big fan of GKTW, and love to spend time volunteering or running the Gingerbread Run!

If you’ve been following along with my Frozen Treats series, you’re probably aware of how much I enjoy a refreshing, frosty treat when it’s hot and humid outside! Touring the parks is hard work in the summer, and my favorite way to keep my energy up is to enjoy something cool! I’ve taken you along…

Eight Spoon Cafe: A Dining Review

Posted on July 9, 2018April 8, 2022

I’m a big macaroni and cheese fan; I love almost all forms of pasta, but there’s something special about an expertly executed mac and cheese. Creamy, gooey, cheesy delicious pasta really can’t be beat… unless you top it with delicious pulled pork. I recently tried the baked macaroni and cheese with pulled pork at the…

Frozen Treats to Keep You Cool: Non-Alcoholic Frozen Drinks Edition

Posted on July 3, 2018April 8, 2022

There’s really nothing more satisfying than sipping a frozen drink as you stroll through Walt Disney World, especially when it’s about 100 degrees out! Sometimes bottled water just won’t cut it; I need something frozen (and delicious!) to keep me going on hot Disney days! As part of my “Frozen Treats to Keep You Cool”…

Father’s Day is coming up, and Walt Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate! I recently celebrated an early Father’s Day with my dad during my last WDW visit, and we had an absolute blast! Here, I’m bringing you my trip report from our recent celebration. I hope it gives you some ideas to…

The Wave…Of American Flavors: A Breakfast Review

Posted on June 5, 2018April 8, 2022

OVERVIEW I’m a Kona Café fanatic; I’ve dined at a bunch of different locations for breakfast while on Walt Disney World vacations, but I usually gravitate toward Kona when it comes to making Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs). I was recently given a surprise bridal shower weekend at Walt Disney World, and since our party was…

How to Handle Summer Rainstorms at Walt Disney World

Posted on May 24, 2018April 8, 2022

Every Disney-lover who’s visited Walt Disney World in the summer has experienced a crazy summer storm. The sky is blue, the sun is beating down, and all of a sudden, the storm clouds roll in. Though they might only last for a few minutes, these summer storms can really pack a punch! Here, I’m bringing…

Surprise Bridal Shower at the Walt Disney World Resort

Posted on May 2, 2018April 8, 2022

I’m getting married in October, so this year has been crazy! Between planning, working, traveling, I haven’t had a ton of leisure time! Last month, I was given the ultimate surprise: a bridal shower/girls weekend in Walt Disney World, where I was able to recharge my batteries, enjoy a Disney weekend with my best friends,…

My Favorite Healthy Snack Spots in Walt Disney World

Posted on February 19, 2018April 8, 2022

As much as I love a scoop of chocolate gelato or a brownie drizzles with buttery caramel, sometimes I’m looking for a lighter and more nutritious snack while on a Walt Disney World vacation. While healthy snacks used to be hard to find at The World, they’re becoming more and more available, which is definitely…

Between all of the attractions, crowds, long lines, and craziness, sometimes you just need a break from the hustle and bustle….

Portable Snacks to Save Money at Disney Theme Parks

Posted on February 9, 2018April 8, 2022

Being a Disney-regular, I’ve tried just about every snack at the parks. While there’s nothing like a Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar or a fresh churro, sometimes packing snacks to bring into the parks is a good idea. Whether you’re trying to save money (unless you’re using snack credits on the Disney Dining Plan, snacks…
