A little about me: I've been a Disney fan for about as long as I can remember; my first trip to The World was in 1995, and I've been in love ever since. I'm a registered dietitian and a foodie, and Disney Dining is one of my favorite things to talk about (just about anything Disney is my favorite!). In addition to my countless Walt Disney World trips, I've visited Disneyland twice, taken a Disney Cruise, ventured to Disneyland Paris, and have run multiple RunDisney races! I'm also a big fan of GKTW, and love to spend time volunteering or running the Gingerbread Run!

Visiting Galaxy’s Edge with No Advanced Planning

Posted on January 23, 2020February 21, 2022

My husband and I recently returned from Galaxy’s Edge over Christmas week, when crowds are high! We showed up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at around 10:00 am with no plans, no ADRs, and no idea how the day was going to pan out! We ended up having a fabulous day, even without showing up…

Posted on January 14, 2020May 5, 2022

My husband and I recently returned from Galaxy’s Edge. He’s a super-fan, and I was just along for the ride (and let’s be honest, the food). We were able to taste quite a few of the food offerings during our time there, and I’m bringing you my opinions of the items we tried! Stop…

Visiting Galaxy’s Edge: A Review of Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities

Posted on January 9, 2020April 8, 2022

My husband is a big Star Wars fan. I’m talking, sees all the movies the day they come out, has original artwork from the original trilogy, reads all the fan theories, type fan. So when my parents surprised him with a trip to Galaxy’s Edge for his 30thbirthday, he was obviously over the moon! I, unfortunately,…

My best friend and her 7-year-old daughter will be taking their first trip to Walt Disney World in December, so naturally I invited myself along for part of the trip! My friend, Sarah, told me that she’d really like to do some traditional Disney eating (can you see why we’re friends?), and I immediately started…

My favorite season at Walt Disney World has to be fall; from the decorations to the adorable fall-themed treats, there’s just nothing better! But if I’m being completely honest, my favorite thing about fall at Walt Disney World is the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival! I look forward to getting my favorite treats every…

My mom and I take an annual mother-daughter vacation around Mother’s Day Weekend each year, and we always try to experience something new and exciting! We’ve gone out to Disneyland in California, on a Disney Cruise, to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort (are you sensing a trend here?), and decided to take it international this year…

Posted on November 21, 2018February 21, 2022

I recently had the fortune of spending two whole weeks in Hawaii for my honeymoon, and being the Disney fan that I am, I knew we had to make a stop at Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa. We spent our first 8 nights on Waikiki Beach, so it was only about a 40 minute…
