When I was about to turn 40 years old in 2012, I set a goal for myself in June of 2011 to do a 5K run before I turn 40. Well I have done many of them now and I am bit by the running bug. I very much enjoy it and have run several half marathons, 8 full marathons and 3 runDisney Dopey challenges to date. In addition to running races, I especially love to run the runDisney races.
I am a wife and mother of two kids who are 16 months apart. My family brings me great joy and is very supportive of my sport/habit/addiction.
In May of 2015 I was selected by the Walt Disney Company from a carefully vetted group of 1,300 social media moms to attend a special conference. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I have been working hard for the past four years to become a part of. The event was life changing and I think about it just about every day!
