The show, which will be called Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration, will be a lagoon based show that will seamlessly blend a fountain show with a variety of state-of-the-art technologies and special effects in a whole new way. The Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration show will combine an all-new story line with full panoramic water screens accented by additional multi-layer water screens, pyrotechnics and – for the first time ever – more than 120 dancing fountains and projection mapping to transform the entire waterfront and surrounding buildings into a vivid celebration of epic movie moments and beloved characters.
This brand new nighttime show will feature scenes from some of your favorite stories that are showcased in the Universal Orlando theme parks. These include scenes from the Harry Potter series, Jurassic World, The Fast & the Furious, Despicable Me and more.
Oh and Guests will be able to see this new spectacular from a brand new, dedicated viewing area that has been designed specifically with the show in mind. This means that Guests will have a prime view of the new nighttime experience.
While there’s currently no officially opening date that’s been announced for this new show, work has been underway for months on the lagoon and it does look like they are getting close to being finished. Stay tuned to the blog as we find out more information about this brand new lagoon spectacular.
