If you went to Universal Orlando Resort and you didn’t stop at Voodoo Doughnut, did you even visit Universal Orlando Resort? The incredibly popular doughnut stop, which got their start in Oregon made its way to Universal’s CityWalk just a few years ago and has quickly become a fan favorite for many and there’s good reason for it.

The stop is known for their famous pink boxes and their ridiculously decadent doughnuts like their Oh Captain, My Captain which has vanilla frosting and Captain Crunch, or their ODB doughnut which has chocolate frosting, Oreo cookies and peanut butter, or their Voodoo Doll, which looks like a voodoo doll and has raspberry jelly topped with chocolate frosting and a pretzel stake. They have also been known to make special doughnuts for Universal, specifically for special occasions, like their recent offering celebrating Universal Orlando Resort’s 30th anniversary.

Of course, that’s just the start of things. They have a number of “regular” doughnuts too. So if you’re looking for a cake doughnut with chocolate icing or a yeast doughnut with sprinkles, they’ve got you covered.

The best part about Voodoo Doughnut, well despite how delicious their doughnuts are, is how really reasonably priced they are. All things considered. (I mean you are at a theme park destination.) Doughnuts range from $1.50 – $3.75 for the incredible specialty offerings. You can also purchase Dozen boxes too.

I’ve stopped at Voodoo Doughnut a number of times on recent trips and have been very happy with not only the quality (the doughnuts are moist – not dry at all) and their taste. The Double Chocolate option was the best version of this classic doughnut offering I’ve ever had.

I’ve been known to grab doughnuts when leaving the park and take them back with me to where I’m staying and enjoy them for breakfast the next day! But they make a delightful snack or breakfast on your way into the resort too!

For those who would like, right now, Voodoo Doughnut is offering mobile order too! This is a huge game changer because it means you don’t have to stand in the usually long line to get a doughnut AND you can easily pick out every doughnut for your traveling party! Plus, Universal Orlando’s app allows for discounts for people like Annual Passholders! (Disney….seriously I wish you would get on that….)

Overall, I say, if you’re in the mood for a doughnut or sweet treat, Voodoo Doughnut is your place!
