Dessert Parties

Walt Disney World offers four different dessert parties throughout Walt Disney World parks.  Each offers unique but very different experiences.  We will breakdown what each of these parties offer for quests so you can make the best decision for your traveling party.

The four different parties in Walt Disney World are Magic Kingdom Firework Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace, Magic Kingdom Firework Dessert Party- Plaza Garden Viewing, Hollywood Studios:  A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party, and Epcot’s Frozen Ever After Dessert Party.

Magic Kingdom Firework Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace

Pricing:  $79 per adult/$47 per child (ages 3 to 9)

Drinks:  non-alcoholic: sparkling cider, hot chocolate, lemonades, coffee, tea

Seating as you eat:  dessert eating is at Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant at tables and chairs

View during show:  you will stay in Tomorrowland Terrace for viewing, this is off center and under a roof making it not as ideal of a view as the Garden Viewing

Food Offered:  Chocolate-dipped strawberries, Disney character-themed desserts, ice cream

Offered most evenings

Magic Kingdom Firework Dessert Party- Plaza Garden Viewing

 

Pricing: $59 per adult/$39 per child (ages 3 to 9)

Drinks:  non-alcoholic: sparkling cider, hot chocolate, lemonades, coffee, tea

Seating as you eat:  dessert eating is at Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant at tables and chairs

View during the show:  Following dessert, guests will be moved to Plaza Garden which is located in prime viewing for the night time firework show located on the grassy area in front of Cinderella’s Castle.  Plaza Garden viewing is standing room only.

Food Offered:  Chocolate-dipped strawberries, Disney character-themed desserts, ice cream

Offered most evenings

Disney’s Hollywood Studios:  A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party

Pricing:  $79 per adult/$45 per child (age 3 to 9)

Drinks:  alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks offered

Seating as you eat:  located in front of Star Wars Launch Bay in Animation Courtyard; tables are provided but no chairs

View during show:  Following dessert, guests are moved to a prime location right in front of the Chinese Theatre putting them in a perfect location for viewing of the fireworks nighttime show.  No seating available.

Food Offered:  Darth Vader cupcakes and more Star Wars themed desserts

Extras:  plastic Chewy stine given to guests

Epcot’s Frozen Ever After Dessert Party

Pricing:$79 per adult/$47 per child (age 3 to 9)

Drinks:  alcohol offered:  summertime cocktails, beer, wine as well as non-alcoholic offerings

Seating as you eat:  chairs and tables are assigned ahead of time, guests are seated outside at uncovered tables around World Showcase Plaza

View of show:  guests remain at their table during the show making the view not as advantageous as there is so many areas to view Illuminations from; however, you do have your own table and chair

Food Offered:  Olaf’s warm double-chocolate s’mores pudding cake, Elsa’s warm cottage pudding with salted caramel glaze, hand-dipped vanilla bean ice cream, Wandering Oaken’s eclairons, Hans’ key lime tarts with red glitter glaze, Living Rock crispy bonbons, Anna’s blue velvet cupcakes, Kristoff’s no-sugar-added lemon curd with blueberry, Sven’s fresh fruits and berries, Grand Pabbie’s winter-spiced snack mix, Duke of Weselton’s cheese fondue served with country bread cubes, broccoli and grilled flatbread

Extra:  guests received a ride on Frozen Ever After following the dessert party

Offered:  availability varies

Things to Know:

  • Advanced reservations are highly recommended starting at the 180 window
  • Fireworks are not guaranteed as part of the experience
  • Please arrive for check-in 75 minutes prior to firework showtime

The Walt Disney World dessert parties are a great way to celebrate a special event while on your Disney vacation or a great way to avoid long waits prior to firework shows.
