- Tusker House will introduce a character meal dinner beginning March 8. The restaurant located in the Africa section of the park will introduce the Donald’s Safari Dinner which will begin at 4:00 p.m. daily. At the meal, guests will have the opportunity to meet Donald, Daisy, Mickey, and Goofy. Menu items for the all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet include spit-roasted carved meats, unique salads, creative vegetarian offerings, hearty stews, and great desserts.
- Over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, new details have emerged about DVC accommodations. There will be 20 bungalows that sit on the water which sleep up to 8. These will have plunge pools and views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. In addition, there will be 360 Deluxe Studios which will sleep up to five and will have a bathroom separated into two areas; one with a shower and sink and the other with a sink and tub/shower. Rooms will also will have kitchenettes and enhanced storage space.
- Guests can now purchase tickets via the My Disney Experience app. Tickets can be purchased for 1 to 10 park days, and guests will also have the ability to add park hopping. Tickets will be automatically linked to your account and will have the ability to be assigned to Family and Friends located in your My Disney Experience account. Finally, since tickets are automatically linked, it means that FastPass+ privileges are automatically assigned at the time of purchase. (If you are within the correct window…up to 60 days in advance for those staying on-site and up to 30 days in advance for those staying off-site.)
