One of the most unique things that happens at the Walt Disney World Resort during the Easter season are the incredible Easter Eggs displays. These are created by Disney pastry chefs and are made from modeling chocolate, fondant, sugar, royal icing, colored cocoa butter and themed sculpted sugar pieces. They really are pieces of art and they are decorated in such unique ways. Many feature a Disney-inspired theme and I’ll be honest, a lot of time you can’t believe that they are made of chocolate! The amount of care and attention that goes into crafting these Easter eggs is insane.

This year, there are displays at more hotels than ever and we wanted to share with you just how cool these eggs really are.

At Disney’s Grand Floridian, which is the originator of the beautiful Easter eggs, you’ll find themes of Pinocchio, Big Hero 6, The Fox and the Hound, Star Wars, Zootopia, Nightmare Before Christmas, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and perhaps, my favorite, simply because how unique it is, Oliver and Company.

Moving over to the Beach Club, the chocolate egg display can be found in the lobby. Egg designs include an incredible Stitch, Baymax, Daisy Duck, Monster’s Inc, Mary Poppins, and more.

Finally, there is a display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Eggs here include Beauty and the Beast, Lilo & Stitch, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin, and The Jungle Book.

If you are visiting Walt Disney World during the Easter holiday season, these displays are absolutely something you should make a stop to see.
