If you’re looking for great quick service food to enjoy outside of the parks, head on over to Port Orleans French Quarter! This is a beautiful & unique resort so it’s worth exploring. While you’re there, grab some food at Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory!

This was one of my favorite quick service meals on my recent 12 day trip. I went there primarily for the Mickey Beignets – which are also well worth the trip to this resort! I got 3 big beignets, only had 1 of them, and took the rest to my resort to enjoy another day! They are absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Classic beignets but mickey shaped, doused in icing sugar. A must do every trip for me now. Since its just a quick boat ride from Disney Springs, it’s easy to head there on a Disney Springs evening.

Since I was there, I decided to also have my supper there-and I was not disappointed! I had the blackened rib eye. With it, I got to choose two sides. I opted for the macaroni & cheese & mashed potato

This quick service location is the perfect use of a quick service credit as well, if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan! Prices range from $10-$20+ & you get SO much food. Make sure you use a snack credit on those beignets too! The pack of 3 is one snack credit, but the pack of 6 costs $6.99 & is not a credit. (Editor’s Note: of course for the remainder of 2020, the Disney Dining Plan has been cancelled for those staying at the Walt Disney World Resort.)

Add this one to your quick service bucket list! Port Orleans, both French Quarter & Riverside, are well worth your trip anyways. While you’re there, definitely grab some food. If you love southern cooking, especially New Orleans style food such as Po Boy & Gumbo – you HAVE to hit this on your next vacation! If you’re not into that style of cooking, there is something for everyone!!
