- Guests who ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and have Memory Maker can now add add a photo and video memento to their My Disney Experience account. When you ride the attraction with a MagicBand and a linked Memory Maker, your photo and video will automatically be associated to your My Disney Experience account, where you’ll also be able to view, download and share the photo and video.
- It’s the end of an era! The Studio Backlot Tour will be closing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The attraction’s last day of operation will be on September 27 to make way for new enhancements. Part of the Streets of America portion of the attraction will be used for the new version of the Wandering Oaken Trading Post.
- Splash Mountain at the Magic Kingdom will see its annual refurbishment from January 4 – 30.
- Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will have a refurbishment from January 20 through February 4.
