- A couple of shops will be closing their doors in January at the Magic Kingdom. First, The Seven Dwarf’s Mine Shop found in Fantasyland will be closing in early January. Second, the Heritage House in Liberty Square that served as the gift shop for Hall of Presidents will be closing on January 4.
- Night of Joy, a hard ticketed, Christian music event is scheduled to take place at the Magic Kingdom on September 5 & 6. The artists for the event have already been announced and include:
