Last weekend, I went to celebrate the holiday season at Walt Disney World. I went to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, walked the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail, and yes, even saw the new holiday happenings at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It was all so very magical.
To celebrate the fall season and the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday though, we ended up at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora – The World of Avatar. Here is where you’ll find a limited time menu offering – the Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse. The mousse is served with chocolate cookie crumbles, pumpkin sauce, and cranberry boba balls on the side. The cost of this cheesecake is $5.49 and it qualifies as a snack for those on the Disney Dining Plan.
So, how is the cheesecake? It’s spectacular! There is a nice creamy layer of pumpkin flavored goodness on the inside. It’s very smooth and not overly sweet. It pairs nicely with the graham cracker crust that can be found as the base. The accompaniments are really just decoration, for the most part.
I was very happy with my choice and thought it was a great option for this time of the year. The only problem…I’m not entirely sure how long it will last! It will likely be available through Thanksgiving, but not sure if it will be around much longer after that. The best way to find out is to open the Mobile Ordering option in My Disney Experience and see if it’s still listed.
