One of my favorite special events at Walt Disney World starts November 9: The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. Held annually at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it is one of the most over-the-top light displays you will ever see. And that is what makes it so appealing. Although each time I see it, I dream of bringing a small portion of it to my own home, there really is no way to duplicate this display.

The entire street, down to the fire hydrants and bicycles, is decked out in lights. And then about every 10 minutes, the lights come alive to a selection of holiday tunes. Sometimes it will even snow. For those of us who don’t live in a warm climate, I can tell you that snow during a comfortable Florida evening is so much more tolerable than it is in the frozen north. But don’t just take my word for it, take a look at some photos of last year’s amazing display!

If you find yourself near Walt Disney World any time between November 9 and January 6, 2013, make sure you take some time to visit this amazing display.

Parking fees at the resorts is a terrible idea.
Who ever thought of this plan apparently did not take into account the cost of rooms or villa. You
Raised the cost of admission , now if you stay on property let’s add more cost. I’m a stock holder
And DVC , I have bragged for years about the ‘Happiest Place On Earth ‘, not the place that is pricing themselves out of family vacation. WHAT WOULD WALT THINK ? I can’t believe he would be happy about ,’ stay on property and pay to park’

Walt and Roy would be ashamed of your greed.
