Finding Disney's Magical Express at Orlando International Airport (MCO)

Finding Disney’s Magical Express at Orlando International Airport (MCO) can be challenging.  In four years, my family has visited Walt Disney World five times, and it never fails us to have trouble finding the terminal where Magical Express is located!  Maybe I’m just directionally-challenged, but I think it is worth going over finding Magical Express so you can start your vacation off on the right note.

Disney’s Magical Express – What It Is

Disney’s Magical Express is the free service Disney provides its on-site guests to get from the airport to their resort. Guests simply provide Disney or their travel agent with their flight information ahead of time to make their Disney’s Magical Express reservation.  If arriving between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Disney will also retrieve your luggage (as long as you attach the provided yellow tags in advance or provide your baggage claim numbers upon arrival) and deliver them to your resort room within 3 hours of your flight’s arrival. Disney also provides the bus for your trip back to the airport about 3 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure.

There are two terminals at Orlando International Airport, labeled A and B. At present, Frontier, JetBlue, and Southwest are some of the major airlines that use Terminal A; American, Delta, Spirit, and United are some of the carriers that use Terminal B. Magical Express is located on Level 1 of the B side. Follow the instructions for your situation below and you’ll be on your way!

What to Do Once You’ve Found the Disney’s Magical Express Location

Once you have arrived at the Magical Express terminal, have one member of your party scan their MagicBand with the Cast Member.  (The Cast Members will let all your kids scan their bands if they wish – for first-timers, this is the first time you get to use them and it really gets your trip started on the right note!). If you don’t have your bands at the ready, be sure to have your reservation letter from Magical Express. If you don’t have anything, visit the Magical Express counter and an agent can help you.

Once you are checked in, you will follow the proper queue to your bus and you should be on your way soon.

The only thing, right now, with COVID is that Guests must first pick up their luggage from the baggage claim area, then head to the Magical Express bus area.
