When planning out your Disney vacation, it’s best to plan your meals and your rides as soon as possible. Disney recently unveiled its new FastPass+ system which allows you to make ride reservations before you ever set foot in the park. To help you out with your planning, Disney sends you a booklet with helpful information, important dates, and their FastPass+ suggestions when you book a stay at Walt Disney World. The biggest advantage when you go to Walt Disney World … make sure you download the My Disney Experience app. That way, your whole itinerary is on your phone.

So far, FastPass+ has offered guests shorter wait times on bigger attractions and a little longer wait times on other rides. This makes sense because Disney has opened up its FastPass+ options to include more rides, shows, and even meals.

Last month, I wrote an article all about FastPass+ and the Magic Kingdom.  Now, here are your FastPass+ options for EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom (notice that EPCOT and Hollywood Studios has tiered options):

EPCOT:

Choose 1 Option: Living with the Land, Illuminations, Soarin’, Test Track

Choose 2 Options: Captain EO, Journey into Imagination, Epcot Character Spot, Mission: Space, Spaceship Earth, The Seas with Nemo and Friends and Turtle Talk, Maelstrom

Picks from a 9 year old: Soarin’ is my favorite ride. Spaceship Earth and Mission Space aren’t my favorite rides, but those are the two best on the second list. I wish I could pick Test Track and Soarin’.

Disney suggested: Soarin’ and Turtle Talk with Crush

My suggestion: We love Soarin’ and Test Track … both of which have long lines. However, we do use the single rider line on Test Track, so I would use my FastPass on Soarin’. Mission: Space is the only other ride on the list that we have waited over 40 minutes to ride at any time, so I would pick that ride.

Hollywood Studios:

Choose 1 Option: Beauty and Beast – Live on Stage, Fantasmic, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Toy Story Mania, Great Movie Ride

Choose 2 Options: Disney Junior – Live on Stage, Indiana Jones, Lights Motors Action, Muppet Vision 3D, Star Tours, The American Idol Experience, The Tower of Terror, Voyage of the Little Mermaid.

Picks from a 9 year old: Toy Story Mania because that line can get really, really long (and it’s fun). Tower of Terror and Star Tours from the second list. I would have picked Fantasmic, but we got dinner and a show tickets to see Fantasmic so that we wouldn’t have to use a FastPass.

Disney suggested: Star Tours, Toy Story Mania and Fantasmic.

My suggestion: I love the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and Fantasmic, but no line in Hollywood Studios is longer than Toy Story Mania. It is a fun, interactive ride and I would recommend a FastPass on that ride before any other. Tower of Terror and Star Tours would be my second choices … because of wait times, I would pick Tower of Terror twice if I could.

Animal Kingdom (choose 3): Dinosaur, Expedition Everest, Finding Nemo – The Musical, It’s Tough to be a Bug, Kali River Rapids, Kilimanjaro Safaris Expedition, Primeval Whirl

Picks from a 9 year old: Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safari and Primeval Whirl. Everest and the safari are my two favorite rides in Animal Kingdom. I’ve never been on Primeval Whirl. I wish I could pick two Expedition Everest rides instead of Primeval Whirl.

Disney suggests: Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safari and Finding Nemo – The Musical.

My suggestion: The longest wait times have been Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safaris and the Kali River Rapids. I would pick all three of them.

What are your three favorite rides/attractions in EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom? Let us know in the comments below.
