Well this is it–probably our last trip to Disney with all 4 of us for quite awhile. Let me introduce you to the main characters–me(Emily), my DH(Robby), my DD(Elizabeth) and my DS(Matthew). I say this is our last trip for awhile because the oldest is already in college and the youngest will start next fall–after that we won’t have money for a Mickey bar must less a trip to Disney World!
Our adventure begins very early in the morning as we climb into the car for our 8-10 hour drive toOrlandobut at least it’s finally starting after a year and a half of planning–I was beginning to think it would never get here. Everything went smoothly although my youngest is missing his new girlfriend (love is really hard!). We checked into the All Star Music and while I have stayed here before, my family hasn’t. Plus we booked one of the family suites so that’s a first for all of us. I must say the suites are really cool—even my picky teenagers like it. It is so nice to have a kitchen area(instead of the small table for 2 that we usually use) and 2 bathrooms(that alone is worth the extra expense!). This trip we only have a 6 day ticket so we won’t hit the parks until tomorrow but we will have to be up very early as that’s the best way to do everything we want to do even when it’s crowded like it is for this trip. Right now we are just unpacking and getting everything in it’s place since that’s the only way we stay sane on our trips together. Although they are showing Cars 2 at the Calypso pool later so we might jus check it out. I’m afraid I don’t have pictures for this first day (technical difficulties) but hopefully I can have those for you tomorrow.
Have a Magical Evening!
