It’s only a few weeks until Easter and beginning next week, the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort will celebrate with the fun-filled Egg-Stravaganza Easter Egg Hunt. I participated in this experience a few years ago and it was seriously so much fun. And while this activity is geared for children, this is definitely something that adults can participate in….and let me tell you….it is actually a challenge.
So, what is the Egg-stravaganza Easter Egg Hunt? Well, Disney hides these large “eggs” that are designed to look like some of your favorite Pixar and Disney characters. Guests will be able to purchase a map with egg stickers (for $6.99, plus tax) and when they find one of the eggs, they place that sticker on the map to represent where they found the egg. When they find all of them, you turn in your map and get a prize. (Granted you can turn in your map without searching, but that’s no fun!)
At Walt Disney World, Guests will be able to search for the eggs all around World Showcase at Epcot. Locations where you can redeem your prize are at Disney Traders, Pin Central, and World Traveler.
At the Disneyland Resort, eggs can be found throughout Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and the Downtown Disney District. Maps can be redeemed at one of three locations – Disney Showcase in Disneyland, Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure, and World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District.
Maps cost $6.99, plus tax and can be picked up at select merchandise locations. The Egg-stravaganza takes place on both coasts from April 5 through April 21, while supplies last.
