The Hall of Presidents Now Open at the Magic Kingdom

Hall of Presidents

Disney shared news a few weeks ago that The Hall of Presidents at the Magic Kingdom would be reopening in August. They never did share an announcement with an official date though. Well, today they surprised us all by reopening the Walt Disney World attraction!

So what’s new? Well, the Liberty Square attraction has officially added the likeness of President Joe Biden. Guests who visit this classic attraction will see this Audio-Animatronics replica of the President deliver the presidential oath of office. President Biden recorded this oath himself at the White House, specifically for the attraction. Disney has also shared that on the table next to President Biden are peach blossoms. These represent his home state of Delaware. There is also a pair of aviators, as a nod to his proclivity for the sunglasses.

For those who have never experienced this attraction, The Hall of Presidents is an elaborate theater presentation. It allows Guests to enjoy a patriotic tribute to American history and the United States’ presidents.

This iconic attraction was introduced when the Magic Kingdom opened in 1971. It’s great that this classic piece of Walt Disney World history is back just in time for the resort’s 50th anniversary.
