Oh my goodness! It’s happening! The original version of Soarin’ – Soarin’ Over California will be returning to EPCOT later this month!
This version of the attraction will be back in The Land Pavilion at Walt Disney World for a limited time, beginning September 22, as part of the Disney 100 celebration.
During this version of the ride, Guests are able to fly past the Golden Gate Bridge, Malibu, the forests, a golf course, and more. In addition, the film includes smells of the sea, pine trees, and oranges.
Soarin’ Over California originally opened at EPCOT back in 2005. The film was changed over to Soarin’ Around the World back in 2016.
There is no word on how long the original version will be shown. We’ll be sure to share any additional details as we learn them.
