Did you know that you can ride ponies and see the Walt Disney World horses up close? Well, you can and they are found at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. But soon, this area will be under construction, as changes are going to be made to the area where these gorgeous animals are held.
There will be a brand new barn created which will provided updated outdoor spaces and more modern stables. The new Tri-Circle-D Ranch will continue to maintain the history and spirit of the original location and it will welcome Guests to explore exhibits of classic Disney equestrian artifacts.
The Draft Horse Barn and Pony Farm will be temporarily unavailable during this construction work, which starts on August 19 and will last until Spring 2020.
For those who would like to go on pony rides, you will still be able to do so at the Trail Blaze Corral near the campground’s entrance. In addition, the resort’s trail rides and carriage rides will continue to operate as normal.
