World Showcase will continue to be known as World Showcase in Epcot. This section of the park will still be a celebration of world culture, architecture, dining, and more.
First, we have the exciting news that a brand new attraction has been announced for the United Kingdom Pavilion and it will be the first ever attraction that is inspired by the film, Mary Poppins. Guests who visit the pavilion will be able to walk through Cherry Tree Lane, past Admiral Boom’s house, and then enter the home of the Banks family, where your adventure will begin. This is all we currently know about the attraction. Details were pretty sparse.
For those who are looking forward to experiencing Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in the France Pavilion, the ride will officially open in the summer of 2020! During Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Guests will shrink down to the size of Chef Remy and race through Gusteau’s restaurant on a wild adventure.
Also opening in the summer of 2020 will be new table service and quick service dining option of La Crêperie de Paris brought to life by celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse.
The classic Impressions de France film will soon be joined by the new “Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along” which will debut in January 2020 and is directed by Don Hahn.
If you are looking for new films in World Showcase, there will certainly be quite a few, as the Canada Pavilion will soon be showing “Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360.” This new film will also debut in January 2020 with new scenes and a new story.
Speaking of new films, the China Pavilion will show “Wondrous China” which will take guests on a spectacular journey across the country. This new film will be presented in a completely new seamless 360-degree digital format.
For those who are looking forward to the brand new nighttime spectacular, “HarmonioUS” will debut in 2020. This will be the largest nighttime spectacular ever created for a Disney park and it will celebrate how the music of Disney inspires people the world over. The show will carry you away harmoniously on a stream of familiar Disney tunes reinterpreted by a diverse group of artists from around the globe. “HarmonioUS” will feature massive floating set pieces, custom-built LED panels, choreographed moving fountains, lights, pyrotechnics, lasers and more.
