Another Walt Disney World nighttime spectacular will be ending in April. Harmonious will officially have is last showing on April 2 at EPCOT. The show, which takes place around the World Showcase lagoon debuted on October 1, 2021 as part of the Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
It was announced back at the D23 Expo that Harmonious would be replaced by a brand new nighttime spectacular. Until that time, in the interim, EPCOT Forever will be returning beginning on April 3. For those who never caught EPCOT Forever the first time, the show features the story of EPCOT. The show invites Guests to behold the single “spark of imagination” that started it all. Watch it grow, evolve and transform into an epic nighttime extravaganza that stirs the senses and captures all you love about EPCOT and look towards the future with dazzling fireworks, stunning laser effects and choreographed kites set to tunes that have become theme park favorites. Now is a great time for the show to come back, as the park is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary.
With the re-introduction of EPCOT Forever, this does mean that the barges will officially be removed from World Showcase lagoon!
