One of the aspects that I expect we will hear a lot about this weekend during the D23 Expo will be updated details about the EPCOT transformation project. As part of the Disney Parks and Experiences display highlighting this project is a section that has been inspired by the upcoming attraction, Journey of Water which is an area inspired by Moana. At the Expo, Guests will be able to see a large model of Te Fiti. Te Fiti will be huge part of the attraction when it officially opens, as this model indicates. Journey of Water will be a lush exploration trail, found in the World Nature section, that will invite guests to meet and play with magical, living water.
Guests who visit the D23 Expo will also see the new Walt Disney statue. This statue has been created for the area that will be known as Dreamers Point. It will be called “Walt the Dreamer.” The goal is to inspire Guests as Walt gazes out at EPCOT. He’s encouraging everyone to follow their dreams right along with him.
