The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival will indeed take place for 2020! Oh and this year the festival dates have been moved up, so this will be the longest festival ever. This year’s EPCOT Food and Wine Festival will kick off when the park reopens from its extended closure, on July 15!
Of course, things won’t be exactly like normal. Disney is calling this year’s festival “A Taste of EPCOT Food and Wine Festival.” There will be 20 global marketplaces for Guests to experience, such as Hawaii, Hops & Barley, and Islands of the Caribbean. In order to keep distanced, the booths will be spread throughout the park.
The festival will once again feature Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak scavenger hunt. And since it wasn’t seen by many people during the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, Guests will be still able to see the new topiary of Remy from Ratatouille in the France Pavilion. Oh and if you missed the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, according to Disney, there may be some Flower and Garden merchandise that’s available for purchase.
Unfortunately, this year’s Eat to the Beat Concert Series will be cancelled. However, Guests will be able to enjoy musical performances in the America Gardens Theater with EPCOT musicians like Mariachi Cobre, the JAMMitors and more. There will be performances throughout the day, giving audiences more options to enjoy them.
The festival currently has no end date. Disney did confirm, however, that the festival will continue into the fall.
