The holiday season will be here before we know it and this year to celebrate, the Walt Disney World Resort will be offering a special hard-ticketed Disney After Hours event. Disney Very Merriest After Hours will be replacing Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for 2021. During the four hour limited capacity event, Guests will be able to experience character sightings, themed fireworks, tasty treats and more!
What To Expect
First things first, Cinderella Castle will include holiday-themed projections throughout the night. Oh and yes, this After Hours event WILL include fireworks. Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show debuted in 2019 and is a dazzling fireworks display hosted by Minnie Mouse. Throughout the evening, Guests will also be able to enjoy snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A.
During Disney Very Merriest After Hours, Guests will be able to see favorite Disney friends spreading holiday cheer throughout the park. (One can guess through the use of holiday cavalcades and distanced greets.)
Of course a big part of the Disney After Hours events is the ability to enjoy treats that are included in the cost of admission. Treats will include holiday treats, ice cream, popcorn and bottled beverages. There will also be additional themed food and beverages available for purchase.
Plus, during the event, you’ll be able to enjoy less time waiting in line for attractions. And yes, some of these attraction will include holiday-themed overlays.
Finally, attendees of this event will also be able to take advantage of holiday-themed Disney PhotoPass photo opportunities.
Tickets
Disney Very Merriest After Hours will take place from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. It will be offered on select nights from November 8 through December 21, 2021. A limited number of tickets will go on sale next month for the event that will be offered after regular park operating hours. An early purchase option will be available to Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
Event tickets will grant admission to the Magic Kingdom as early as 7:00 p.m. These dated event tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or Disney Park Pass theme park reservation.
