I really am a sucker for an Epcot festival. I mean they do seem as though they happen continuously, but still, I love seeing what’s new with each one, trying all the food and beverages that are offered, and catching the unique entertainment or seminars. So, imagine my surprise when today, Disney announced dates for not one, but two popular Walt Disney World staples.
This year’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival will take place for the longest number of days ever for 2019. This year, the festival will run from August 29 through November 23 – an incredible 87 day stretch!
This annual event transforms Epcot into a food and wine lover’s paradise! Guests are invited to try delicious foods, wines and beers from around the world at special marketplaces set up throughout World Showcase, as well as mix and mingle with celebrity chefs, experience hands-on culinary workshops and demonstrations, and get their groove on at nightly Eat to the Beat concerts.
But we’re just getting started! You see the Epcot Festival of the Holidays will start 6 days later on November 29 and will run through December 30. During the Epcot Festival of the Holidays, Guests are able to discover the joyous holiday traditions of the 11 World Showcase nations. Guests will be able to enjoy live musical productions, savor seasonal food & beverage specialties at the Holiday Kitchens, and take a festive global tour as costumed performers bring time-honored traditions to life throughout World Showcase! Oh and let’s not forget the ever popular Candlelight Processional.
