One of the things that seems to be gaining steam that people love doing is plussing up their vacation experience. And Disney knows it by adding lots of these unique dining experiences and dessert parties that add a little extra oomph to people’s vacations, they will be popular! (I always get questions about ideas for special occasions and these options are perfect for those! Choose which one is right for your family and boom! You have a great way to celebrate!)
Well, now, there’s a new option for those who want to experience Disney’s Animal Kingdom in a new way…with a family-friendly progressive dining experience called Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night. This event draws its inspiration from African cultures, as well as celebrating the film, The Lion King. Throughout the evening, Guests will be able to learn more about the importance of some of the most endangered animals like the African elephant, the rhinoceros, the Cape buffalo, the leopard, and the lion. During Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night, Guests will be able to learn more about the challenges these animals face around the world, as well as what efforts Disney is taking in working to protect them.
During Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night, Guests will take part in a welcome reception at the Wildlife Express Train Station which will offer light hors d’oeuvres, snacks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while enjoying acoustic music. From there, you’ll board the train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch where you’ll be able to enjoy more light bites and sips and there will also be a meet and greet opportunity with Rafiki and Timon. When done visiting, you’ll then hop back on the train and to venture over to Harambe Market where you’ll enjoy an array of sweet and savory dishes paired with unique beverages.
Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night begins on July 24 and costs $125 plus tax for adults and $99 plus tax for children (ages 3-9). Park admission is also required. Reservations can be made beginning on April 3 by calling 407 WDW-DINE.
