Candlelight Processional Returning for the Holiday Season in 2021

Candlelight Processional

This holiday season, another favorite show will be returning for 2021! Candlelight Processional will be back for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. The show will take place from November 26-December 30.

The Candlelight Processional is a breathtaking retelling of the Christmas story. It takes place in the America Gardens Theatre. The show features a 50 piece orchestra, choir and celebrity guest narrators. The narrator reads the Christmas story and interspersed in between are favorite holiday carols.

One change that will be taking place for this year is that this year there will not be the presence of choirs from different community groups and schools. Instead, the Cast Member choir will be expanded for this year’s performances. Guest choirs are expected to return next year. This is due to the fact that all performers, including Cast Members, musicians, singers, and narrators, will be required to be fully vaccinated.

Celebrity narrators haven’t been announced as of right now, but you can bet that some fan favorites will be returning.

In addition, Disney did share that the Walt Disney World Resort would be reintroducing Candlelight Processional Dining Packages, but did not share any additional information. We’ll share both the list of narrators, as well as more details about dining packages when we learn those details.
