Blizzard Beach Reopening in Early November 2023

Blizzard Beach

Guests will once again be able to visit Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park for another season! Walt Disney’s World‘s Blizzard Beach will officially reopen on November 6!

At Disney’s Blizzard Beach, Guests are able to plunge into the absolute coolest water park. Legend has it that the snow-capped mountain in the park was built as a ski resort, which has now melted in the Florida sun. Guests can experience the 120-foot-tall Summit Plummet water slide, a ton of tube slides, great kid areas, and more! And don’t worry about the water being too cool! It’s heated to 75-80 degrees!

For Guests who want to visit this fantastic water park, there’s a brand new Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass which allows guests to visit Disney Water Parks again and again now through May 24, 2024 for just $79 plus tax. If you plan on visiting the water parks twice during that time frame, this is a FANTASTIC deal! The seasonal pass has no block out dates and no reservations are required. Plus, Guests get free parking.

If you’re looking for some new treats to try, when Blizzard Beach reopens, you’ll want to stop by Arctic Expeditions. They’ll have a S’mores Churros which will be bites topped with graham cracker crumbs, marshmallow whipped cream, chocolate sauce and toasted mini marshmallows. There will also be Banana Split Churros which are bites topped with banana slices, sliced strawberries, pineapple chunks, cookie and brownie pieces, chocolate and caramel sauce, whipped cream and a cherry.

Or you can go to the Warming Hut for new Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings and Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings.

Last year, in Tike’s Peak, a new Frozen-themed hangout opened which features Anna and Elsa in their igloo castle. There’s also a wading pool where kids can splash around with Olaf and his Snowgie pals.

With the opening of Disney’s Blizzard Beach, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will temporarily close beginning on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
