Update: This event is now full.Â
It is time!! The link is now available for the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder preview of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
As a reminder, during this preview, only Platinum, Platinum Plus and Premier Passholders will have the opportunity to register to see Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. During the preview, which takes place from August 17-21, Guests will be able to explore the land, shops and more.
To get into the previews, an eligible activated Annual Pass is required to register. There is a limit of one reservation per Passholder. To register a Guest to accompany you, that Guest must also be a Platinum, Platinum Plus or Premier Passholder, be listed on your Family & Friends list and have opted to share “All My Plans” with you.
So, here’s how it all breaks down.
On the right side, there will be a list of all the people you are connected with in your Friends and Family. I had a number of people who couldn’t attend with me, so you will need to remove anyone on your list who cannot go first. (Otherwise a pop up will say that there was an error and you can’t register.)
You will then be taken to a screen allowing you to choose not only the date, but also the time you would like to attend the preview. Preview time slots are 4 hours long. Once you hit submit, you will then receive a confirmation number on the next screen. You will also receive an email with your confirmation number.
As a reminder, separate registration will be required for those looking to build a lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop or have a drink at Oga’s Cantina.
Those looking to visit Savi’s Workshop to build your lightsaber will be able to register and the cost will be $199.99 plus tax and payment is due upon arrival. Only one spectator is allowed in with the Guest for this experience. Of course, capacity is limited.
Capacity will also be limited for Oga’s Cantina. There is a maximum of 2 drinks per Guest. In addition, Oga’s Cantina consists mainly of standing room, with limited seating and for those who manage to get seats, separate parties may be seated together.
Good luck to anyone attempting to make their reservations to get into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World!
