Big news for those who get the Universal Dining Plans at Universal Orlando Resort. Effective today, these plans have officially ended indefinitely.
According to a message that their social media team sent me:
For those who have already purchased a Universal Dining Plan, you’re are not out of luck. It will still be able to be used. It’s just that new Guests cannot purchase the Dining Plans.
For those who had purchased a Universal Dining Plan, they would be able to enjoy convenience, savings and selection at over 100 dining locations in both theme parks, as well as at Universal CityWalk. Universal Dining Plans were only available with the purchase of a Universal Orlando Vacation Package. Guests would receive a Universal Dining card upon arrival at their hotel. This card would then need to be presented when you placed your order to redeem your credits.
Universal Dining Plan Included:
- Full-Service Meal – includes one entrée, one non-alcoholic beverage, 1 Dining Plan Dessert
- 1 Quick Service Meal – includes one entrée, one non-alcoholic beverage
- 1 Snack
- 1 Non-Alcoholic Beverage
Universal Quick Service Dining Plan Included:
- 1 Quick Service Meal – includes one entrée, one non-alcoholic beverage
- 1 Snack
- 1 Non-Alcoholic Beverage
There were also regular and quick service options that included a Coca Cola Freestyle Souvenir Cup.
