A brand new restaurant is heading to Universal Orlando Resort‘s CityWalk and let me tell you…it sounds delicious! Opening later this summer will be Bigfire, a full service restaurant that draws its inspiration for cooking over open flame during those great summer evenings. Bigfire will put a modern twist on open-fire cooking, all while creating signature dishes that have bold flavors and will be infused with smoky deliciousness. Yum!

The restaurant, which replaces Emeril’s will be a two story venue that will feature natural design elements of mix and matched fabrics and seating, cast iron, twinkling lights, camp lanterns. Oh and you’ll want to look in the overhead rafters too! There’s going to be a canoe suspended from above.

As far as the menu is concerned….well, wood fired grilled dishes will be the highlight. Here, chefs will carefully match each food with wood species that have been carefully chosen based on the flavor they exude. Ever dish will be impacted with the smoky flavors, including entrees, sides, desserts – and even cocktails, including a signature bison burger; coffee, chili and cocoa rubbed top sirloin; delectable freshwater trout; mouth-watering smoked salads and more.

Bigfire will be located in between Vivo Italian Kitchen and Margaritaville. The new restaurant looks sleek and modern and personally, I can’t wait to try it out. CityWalk hits it out of the park with their restaurants, so I suspect this will be another home run.
