The next new dining experience called Bigfire is now open at the Universal Orlando Resort! Found in CityWalk in between VIVO Italian Kitchen and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville on the edge of the lagoon. The restaurant itself offers incredible views of Universal CityWalk.
Bigfire is a table service dining location that draws inspiration from the nostalgia of cooking over open flames. That includes things like memorable summer vacations to camping to backyard barbecues. This is a two-story venue that features natural design elements. There’s mix and match fabrics and seating, cast iron all around, twinkling lights, camp lanterns and there’s even a canoe suspended from the overhead rafters to complete the outdoor ambience the restaurant attempts to evoke.
Bigfire features a custom wood fire grill where chefs prepare dishes that are carefully matched with the proper wood species based on the flavors they exude. All dishes served here are infused with a great smoky flavor and are considered to be elevated American fare. Options at Bigfire include a signature bison burger; coffee, chili and cocoa rubbed top sirloin; delectable freshwater trout; mouth-watering smoked salads and more.
Oh and let’s not forget dessert! At Bigfire you can make s’mores – right at your table! Yes please!
